Thank You to Michael Davantes for this Feature
Wow, what a wonderful birthday gift – being featured in a news spread in a North American publication! And to be included among my idols in pageant expertise after only 5 or 6 years of blogging about pageants is a thrill!!! They are all my ates and kuyas when it comes to pageant knowledge, LOL. Si Coco lang ang hindi ko pa na-mi-meet so I’m looking forward to that.
Thank you Michael Davantes for this feature, I really appreciate it! It made my special day today extra-special!

The Beauty of a Filipina
joyce good afternoon. first, sorry to disrupt your good afternoon, and second, sorry for posting a message not related to this post. norman tinio posted on his blog a news on the resurgence of miss republic of the philippines. one of the titles is miss mindanao, the equivalent of 3rd runner or fifth place. this afternoon i discovered that he erased the phrase 3rd runner up before the miss mindanao. i am not happy with it. why equate mindanao to just 3rd runner up? what is the connection? mindanao contributed so much to the philippine economy with its top export earning industries such as bananas (2nd worldwide), pineapple (1st), coconut, marine products, gold and other minerals, etc. PLEASE, please relay the message to norman or to the organizers if you know them that using miss mindanao as a runner up position WAS a thing of the past (60s-70s) when the word POLITICAL CORRECTNESS was not yet heard. thank you and sorry for this emotional message from a beauty pagent fan of mindanao. mabuhay ka!
Happy Birthday for the wonderful blogger, Miss Joyce Ann Burton Titular!
Thank you Armando!!
Happy birthday, Miss Joyce:)
