The Missus Universe Pageant 2009 is just days away!!!! Coronation night is Sunday, August 9, 2009 in Riga, Latvia.

Latvia is a beautiful city and was once a trade center of the Vikings. It is located between Russia and the Baltic Sea and has been declared by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site for it’s Art Nouveau architecture. People generally speak Russian Latvian and before I give you more unsolicited information, let me give you my Eight Favorite Missuses!!! LOLOLOL!!!

Camilla Kim Galvez is the CEO and owner of Blue Gardens, a popular wedding venue in her country. She has also worked for “Bantay Bata,” a TV program that rescues abused children. Vaida Ragenaite is a 35 year old “blonde bombshell Mom” with a 15-year old son and 2 year old daughter. She holds a Master Degree in Finance and Business Management and works as a Sales Manager for Insurance Company Seesam Lietuva. Her hobbies include painting and breeding roses.

Erika Krieger describes herself as a happily married woman with an adorable two-year-old son named Alex. Mrs Germany Universe 2009 works at an airport as an Air Safety Assistant. Thankfully, the pilots can’t see while they’re landing or else they’d miss the tarmac.

Shalina Mohamad Ismail is mother to two wonderful gems – an 11-year-old daughter and a 7-year-old son. She juggles motherhood and career as Marketing Manager and Freelance Tour Guide in Singapore and overseas. She is also a trainer in Business and Tourism courses. She began her modeling career at age 4 but retired when she got married at the age of 20. She recently made a comeback after joining and winning the Mother of the Year 2009 and Mrs. Singapore Universal 2009.

Elena Sandeva believes that everything in life isn’t only black or white. Mrs Macedonia Universe 2009 says there is pink somewhere in the middle and it just needs to be found. She grew up with modern dance as a big part of her life. She is currently working as an international model and is sharing her life with her real love. Elena Sandeva is always happy and quite ambitious because she knows that everything is possible if you wish for it with a pure heart.

She is an experienced model and former national level athlete representing her country in a Finland-Baltics match and now she is deeply honored to represent her country once again in beautiful and historic Riga.

Evija Indriksone-Nikonorova is 25 years old and comes from the town of Ikskile. Mrs Latvia Universe 2009 is a mother of two children whose hobby is snowboarding! Whoah!!!  When she’s not busy scooting around on the snow, she works as a trade representative. As Latvia is the host country, it is but natural for me to include this spunky lady in my list of favorites.
