Just got back from a LOVELY Ms. Philippines Earth pageant – the first one I ever attended. Congratulations to Lorraine Schuck and the rest of Carousel Productions for a wonderful night of beauty. The girls were not only gorgeous but also quite excellent at the Q&A portion. Although they were nervous, there were hardly any “dumb beauty queen answers” and I believe it’s because of the training the contestants get on how to talk about environmental issues. So, I didn’t squirm as much during the Q&A portion – I SO sympathize with all beauty pageant contestants because I know what it’s like to be young and inexperienced and yet expected to answer questions in front of a mass of people who are ready to either glorify or lynch you. NOT EASY MY DARLINGS!
Well, I’m pleased to announce that all the TOP 5 WINNERS were in my list of LUCKY 13 – the girls I thought most likely to win. You might say HUWHAT? 13 CHOICES? That’s a LOT!!! But what can you do when they parade FIFTY lovely contestants before you? NOT EASY MY DARLINGS!!!
So, here are the five ladies that came out on top of them all:
MISS PHILIPPINES-EARTH 2009: Sandra Seifert (Negros Occidental)
Miss Philippines Eco-Tourism and Miss PAGCOR: Grezilda Adelantar (Victorias City)
Miss Philippines-Fire and Miss Science and Technology: Patricia Marie Tumulak (Quezon City)
Miss Philippines-Air: Michelle Martha Braun (Aklan)
Miss Philippines-Water: Catherine Loyola (Fil. Sydney)
Pageant stalkers will know that Sandra was disqualified from the Bb. Pilipinas 2009 beauty pageant because of some racy photos of her featured months ago in FHM magazine. Pageant officials did not know about the photos until a few days before coronation night so it must have been quite a shock for Sandra to discover that after spending weeks in the pre-pageant that she would be booted out of the race. Many pageant fans were upset because Sandra was a big favorite. Fortunately, she quickly moved on joining the Miss Philippines-Earth pageant. I spoke to pageant founder Lorraine Shuck two weeks ago and she said that they knew about the FHM spread and did not find the photos to be that bad. So Sandra, my QUEEEN, you just got your DAY IN COURT!!! LOLOLOL!!! And now that you’re a winner… you can be more picky about your modelling assignments – hoooray!!! Congratulations

Hehehe! Nakita po kita sa tv! Hehehehe! Nag-enjoy din akong manood
Kaya lang from after the first Q&A feel ko nang si Sandra ang winner so hindi na xia exciting!
